Logline: Charlie, a young female sculptor, embarks on a disturbing journey of artistic obsession, breaking into a morgue to dissect a body in order to create her masterpiece, only to find that the pursuit of artistic perfection comes at a high cost to her humanity.
Hollowed Out is a Wesleyan University Film Production Thesis written, directed, edited, and color corrected by Francesca Morales. It is a 12-minute short film shot digitally on BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k Pro, edited in Adobe Premiere, and color corrected in DaVinci Resolve.
