In her first semester of her junior year, Francesca took a class made mandatory for all majors in the Wesleyan College of Film and the Moving Image. This class, called Sight & Sound, sparked an immense appreciation and love for shooting on 16mm film. Francesca, familiar with only 35mm SLRs and point & shoots at that point, fell absolutely in love.
